Logo and Business Cards
Sue Jones and I crossed paths one morning at a local coffee shop in Amana. Working with me, you’ll soon learn I have a coffee addiction, maybe its the setting or the caffeine but almost all of my best ideas always come when I have a coffee in my hand and a sketchbook near by.
Sue had come into the coffee shop for her morning cup of joe and mentioned that she was having issues with her receipt printer so I offered to come help. She owns an antique shop in Amana that was in need of new business cards and wanted something different than her current ones. I offered her my services and from there we began a prosperous working relationship.
Her only requirement was that the logo include something related to her shop. During the design process, Sue had come across an old farm windmill and decided to use it as decor on the side of her building given its side. Upon seeing the vanes of the windmill I was instantly struck with inspiration as seen here.
